Scouts Lend a Hand

Darren Van Der Merwe, Patrol Leader of this patrol has another initiative coming up on 28 April 2018 and has made the following appeal:

Dear Sir / Madam

I am approaching you to humbly ask for your help . I am 12 years old and have a vision and that vision is to feed other kids as I believe I can make a change in this community . Now growing up in a area like Lavender Hill where you wake up with sounds of guns shots . As I am only 12 and a grade 7 learner at Sullivan Primary school and patrol leader of the Buffalo patrol at 1st Steenberg Scouts are appealing to businesses to please assist me . My aim is to make 300 sandwiches served with a fruit and a glass of cooldrink on Saterday 28th April 2018. I would like to serve on the bread polony , cheese with mayonnaise. I also want to have no charge fun day where the kids can play soccer , jumping castles , cricket as that is what our community need .
