Fun Day at the Vlei 2018

Please diarise our very exciting upcoming Scout Event – Fun Day @ the Vlei – on Sunday, 6 May from 10am to 3pm!

Our fabulous Fundraising committee is hard at work organising fabulous stalls and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Birds of Africa will be doing Bird and Reptile shows, we will have a Microlight air demonstration (weather permitting), Pony rides & sailing on Zandvlei in the Scout saldanhas.

A variety of food stalls will be available as well as a Games area for kids of all ages, a Book stall, Cake sale, Tombola, Face painting and various raffles.

Raffle prizes include a weekend away at the Bellingham Homestead in Franschhoek (valued at R4500) and a photo shoot voucher by Desire Neilsen Photography (valued at R3000) amongst others.

If you would like to be part of our Entrepreneur’s market, to sell your homemade items, stands are available to hire at R150. We would also like to run a Pocket money market for kids to sell their handmade treasures, at R50 per stand.
